Anxiety is a natural response to stressful, unfamiliar situations but when the anxiety becomes constant and pervasive, it creates patterns and behaviors that can be difficult to manage. Chronic anxiety can lead to emotional and physical symptoms such as worry, panic, tension, GI issues, sleep disturbances and overwhelm.
The word trauma originates from the Greek term for "wound". When you experience trauma, whether a single event or repeated events or situations, your ability to feel safe in the world is compromised, and you may feel and behave as if disaster is always around the corner.
Grief is a response to a loss, and can be emotional, physical and spiritual. We will all experience grief and loss at some point in our lives, whether in the death of a loved one, the end of a relationship, or the loss of a dream. Whatever the loss is, you do not have to move through it alone.
People pleasing, comparing yourself to others, fear of failure and lack of boundaries are all signs that you are struggling with low self-esteem.
